Hiddify Essentials, Part 2

Routing controls what traffic goes through Hiddify, what goes directly and what should be blocked.

You can find these settings in Hiddify under Settings -> Routing.

Ad blocking

Enable Block advertisements. This can block many ads, trackers and known unwanted domains before they reach your device.

Important: this is DNS and routing-level blocking. It can block many ad and tracking domains, but it will not remove every ad on every website or inside every app.

IPv6 route

Enable IPv6 route. IPv6 is the modern version of internet addressing. If your provider and network support it, Hiddify can route IPv6 traffic too.

Disable it only if some websites stop opening, your network has broken IPv6 support or you were specifically told to disable it.

Bypass LAN

Bypass LAN means local network traffic will not go through Hiddify. This helps you access your router, printer, smart TV, NAS and other devices in your home network. Recommended: enabled.

Per-app proxy

On Android, Hiddify can route traffic app by app. Enable Per-app proxy, then choose which apps should use Hiddify and which should use your normal connection.

If you use Android, learning per-app proxy is strongly recommended. It gives you more control and makes everyday usage more comfortable.
