Troubleshooting
Most connection issues can be solved in less than a minute. Start with the symptom that matches your situation.
I cannot connect
- Check that your subscription has not expired.
- Check that Hiddify is connected.
- Use VPN mode for most devices.
- Make sure your internet connection is working.
If you are connecting with a new subscription for the first time, do not worry if it does not connect immediately. The first attempt may take a little longer or end with a timeout while Hiddify establishes the connection. Press Connect again.
If Hiddify appears to stay on the timeout screen, close Hiddify completely, open it again and press Connect.
My subscription was renewed, but it still does not work
Open Hiddify and press the Refresh button. Hiddify will download the latest version of your subscription automatically.
Some websites work, others do not
- Make sure IPv6 Route is enabled.
- Leave DNS settings at their default values.
- Disconnect and reconnect.
If the problem only affects one website, it is likely unrelated to Hiddify.
One application does not work
If you are using Per-app Proxy, check whether the application is routed through Hiddify or bypasses it. If you are unsure, temporarily disable Per-app Proxy and test again.
I cannot access my printer or other local devices
Enable Bypass LAN. This allows access to printers, routers, NAS devices and other equipment on your local network while Hiddify is connected.
My connection feels slow
- Disconnect and reconnect.
- Refresh your subscription.
- Check whether your internet connection is slow even without Hiddify.
In many cases, the local network is the actual bottleneck.
My subscription expired
Open @simplelinkaccessbot, press My Configs and select Extend. Your subscription will continue working without creating a new one or importing it again.
