How to refresh a Hiddify subscription
Refreshing tells Hiddify to download the latest configuration from your subscription link.
When you import a VLESS subscription into Hiddify, the app stores a local profile. That profile is based on the subscription link. If the provider updates configuration or you renew the same subscription, Hiddify may need to refresh the profile to see the latest state.
When to refresh
- After renewing an expired subscription
- After your provider updates servers or routing
- When the bot shows the subscription is active but Hiddify still does not connect
- When you see outdated profile information in the app
When not to re-import
Do not delete and re-import the subscription as your first move. If the same subscription was renewed, the original link usually remains valid. Refreshing is the cleaner action because it preserves your local Hiddify profile.
Refresh vs renewal
Renewal happens in the SimpleLinkAccess bot. Refresh happens inside Hiddify. Renewal extends the subscription period. Refresh makes Hiddify download the current configuration. They are related, but they are not the same action.
Basic flow after expiration
- Open @simplelinkaccessbot.
- Go to My Configs.
- Press Extend on the subscription.
- Open Hiddify.
- Press Refresh on the imported subscription profile.
- Connect again.
